After you purchase Starter Theme Installation, you’ll receive a link to our Installation Form in your inbox. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see the email.

02. Submit your form

Complete the Installation Form with your login credentials and setup preferences. Once we receive your form, your website is officially added to our installation queue!

03. Installation Day

Sit back and relax, we’ve got it from here! We’ll install your theme and plugins, set up your homepage, create your navigation menus, and make sure everything looks just right.

04. Customize & Launch!

We’ll email you once everything is set up and ready for you. Then it’s time to dive in, add your content, and launch your gorgeous new blog! 🎉

Frequently Asked Questions

Once we receive your form, turnaround time is 5 to 10 business days (weekends excluded).

If you purchased the Rush Installation Upgrade, your theme will be installed within 2 business days of receiving your installation form.

Please note that if we receive the incorrect login information on your form, installation may be delayed.

A New Site is a site that has no existing content. On new sites, the demo content will be imported for you during theme installation.

An Existing Site is an established website with existing content that you have published: posts, pages, images, etc. Sites with existing content require a lot of extra time and care during theme installation.

Exception: If you tried to install your theme on your own and imported the demo content, your site is still considered a new site. Your site is only considered an existing site if you have your OWN content published.

No. Your theme is not included with Starter Theme Installation, and will need to be purchased separately.

Starter Installation does not include:

  • Hosting & domain setup
  • Installation of WordPress.org software on your site
  • Updating WordPress and plugins
  • Migrating site content from another location
  • Adding posts or page content to your site
  • Configuring Newsletter widgets (instructions will be provided to you on how to link your mailing list provider to your website)
  • Customizations, such as changing fonts, colors, layout, or theme features
  • Revisions

We LOVE helping entrepreneurs & bloggers set up their websites. But to keep our installation prices as reasonable as possible, revisions and ongoing email correspondence after installation are not included. All of your information, preferences, images, etc must be included in your installation form.

Absolutely! Once we hand over your site, it’s 100% yours to customize, tweak, and build on however you’d like. And with our easy-to-follow guides, you’ll always know exactly how to make updates.

We won’t leave you hanging! Once your theme is installed, we’re here to help you feel confident using it. In the completion email you’ll receive after your theme is installed, there will be a link to Post-Installation Guide for your specific theme. This goes over lots of common questions that pop up after installation, how to edit different areas of your new theme, and more.

What You’ll Need

New Sites

Our WordPress themes require a self-hosted WordPress.org site. Before we install your theme, you’ll want to make sure that you have the following:

  1. Your own domain name
  2. A hosting account
  3. WordPress.org software installed on your domain

If you’re unsure how to set these up, our Getting Started Guide will walk you through it step by step. You’ve got this!

It’s also a good idea to set up accounts with any social media platforms you plan to use, so that we can take care of linking your social icons for you.

Existing Sites

If your website has existing content, extra time and care is needed to install your theme. For existing sites, please complete the following steps prior to installation:

  1. Upgrade to PHP 8.1 or newer
  2. Make a backup of your website
  3. Update your website to the latest version of WordPress
  4. Perform a plugin audit

Optional: If you’d like your theme installed on a staging site, you can create a staging copy of your site and include the staging URL and login info on your installation form. Not sure how? Your hosting provider can help you set this up!
